Today is one of my favorite holidays. Perhaps having three handsome valentines has something to do with it? I thought I would share with you my favorite Valentine gift: Liam’s song to me. He learned this song in his Let’s Play Music class, and it just makes me smile every time he sings it:
Will you be my V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E?
If you do you’ll surely know how happy I will be.
Sugar spice and all that’s nice, that’s what you are to me.
Will you be my V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E?

One of my favorite holidays too! I can’t wait for my little one to learn songs, etc (he’s only 13 mos). And although my husband grumbles like most men do about V-day, he goes along with anything I ask of him in preparation for this holiday. I love that about him! I borrowed one of your ideas for my son’s day care valentines – the sippy straw with a teddy bear in a clear bag with the tag saying Sipadee do da Sipadee yay – Have a BEARY Happy Valentine’s Day. Next year: bouncy balls all the way!
We scoured the internet for homemade valentines and Savannah loved the Sip-a-dee-doo-dah straws the best. They were a big hit in her class. Thanks so much for sharing.

I just wish I could hear him sing that today.
