I spied this adorable printable on laybabylay.com. I remember my mom had a cross stitch, with this exact poem, in our house when I was a little kid. Surrounded by seemingly endless piles of laundry, with my almost two-week old baby in my lap — these are the Supermom words I needed to hear today.
Bettijo is a co-founder and designer here at Paging Supermom. More importantly, she is a mother of three girls so she spends much of her day listening to them sing along to Hannah Montana. During quieter moments, she enjoys art, retro-modern design, photography and making new things. In 2003 Bettijo founded an organic bath and spa products brand, Bath By Bettijo, which has been regularly featured in national magazines including Real Simple, Martha Stewart Living, Whole Living, O, EveryDay with Rachel Ray, Health, Lucky, Shape and more.
I saw this exact cross stitch in my daughters closet yesterday…my mom had this in my nursery!! So weird you posted this today!! I needed it yesterday as well.
My mom had this in cross stitch on our wall as well! I remember being a kid and reading it over and over. She actually still has it on her “cross stitch” wall!! Love it….thanks for posting

I love this poem!
This was my motto I tried to live by when my children were growing up.

I understand it so much more now that I’m a mother, don’t you?
My aunt wrote the entire poem from which this was taken about my cousin (who was her 5th child). It stil is so true after 54 years.
